"I Love the Way You Love Me" is a song written by Victoria Shaw and Chuck Cannon, and recorded by American country music singer John Michael Montgomery. It was released in March 1993 as the second single from his debut album, ''Life's a Dance''. The song reached the top of the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. It became Montgomery's first number-one single and was named Song of the Year by the Academy of Country Music.〔(ACMs – Previous Winners – Song of the Year )〕
